About Aziel Nuñez
Aziel Nuñez is a pastor, educator, and writer based in the Midwest. Raised in an Evangelical missionary family and shaped by life across Mexico City, San Diego, Madrid, and Chicago, he brings a cross-cultural lens to questions of faith, community, and leadership.
Aziel earned a BA in Political Science and Religion from Colgate University, an MDiv from Yale University, and a DMin in Transformational Leadership from Boston University. He has served in Hispanic congregations in several states and has taught in college settings. His writing draws on pastoral experience and the sociology of religion, with particular attention to immigrant identity, spiritual formation, and the ethical responsibilities of leaders and institutions.
He enjoys skiing, reading, and long walks with his family.
